Connect Your Accounts
How to connect Gmail, Outlook, Google Drive, OneDrive, Slack, and Teams to Lodestar at the user level.
How connections work
Account connections are per-user and authorized via OAuth. Lodestar requests only the scopes it needs to read email, calendar, files, and messages. It never stores your OAuth credentials — only the access tokens it needs to sync.
After connecting, Lodestar imports recent history and then syncs continuously as new mail, events, and files arrive.
Connect Gmail
Go to Settings → Integrations → Connect account. Select Google / Gmail. You'll be taken to Google's OAuth consent screen. Grant Lodestar permission to read your mail and calendar. On completion you'll be returned to Lodestar and the sync will begin.
- Imports recent email threads and labels
- Syncs Google Calendar events
- Continuous sync as new mail and events arrive
Connect Outlook and Microsoft 365
Go to Settings → Integrations → Connect account. Select Microsoft / Outlook. Authorize via Microsoft's OAuth consent flow. Lodestar will sync your Outlook inbox, calendar, and — if you also connect OneDrive — your files and SharePoint content.
- Imports Outlook email threads and folders
- Syncs Outlook Calendar events
- Optional: OneDrive and SharePoint file sync
Connect Drive and OneDrive
File connections are separate from email connections. Go to Settings → Integrations → Connect storage. Select Google Drive or OneDrive/SharePoint. After authorization, Lodestar indexes your files and links them to relevant email threads, projects, and action items.
Connect Slack and Teams
Message integrations bring Slack and Microsoft Teams conversations into your context. Go to Settings → Integrations → Connect messaging. Select Slack or Teams. Lodestar syncs channels and direct messages you have access to, linking mentions and commitments to relevant projects and contacts.
Slack and Teams message sync is available in prerelease. The connector scope and channel selection UI will be refined before GA.
Managing and removing connections
All connected accounts are visible at Settings → Integrations. You can disconnect any account at any time. Disconnecting stops future syncs; previously imported data is retained until you delete it from Settings → Security → Delete data.
